The Village of Godfrey has been giving some roadways a facelift and will soon start to do the same for the Rockgate subdivision. The oiling and chipping process on the subdivision roadways will be starting sometime this week.

McCormick also says the Village has spent around $200,000 oiling and chipping around one third of the roadways in the village. He says the next roadway to receive work after Rockgate will be the section of Stamper Lane from Glazebrook Park to near Pierce Lane, tentatively set to begin on September 8.
