The Godfrey Village Board approved a number of items at its meeting last night, including a new three-year contract with the Teamster’s Union. The contract covers seven employees in the Public Works Department, and runs through March 31, 2018.
Also approved was the amendment of the Nuisance Ordinance, to cover inoperable motor vehicles and include those that are unlicensed or without plates or a current sticker. Trustee Mike Stumpf thinks this is a good move.
