Gay couples in Illinois get another win in the fight to legalize same sex marriage. The gay marriage bill made it out of a House committee with a six to five vote last night. It now heads to the house floor, where its fate is still up in the air. One state rep voted for the proposal in committee last night but says he won't likely do the same when it reaches the floor.
The bill passed the Illinois Senate two weeks ago, and the governor says he would sign the bill if it passes both chambers.
