The recent terror attacks in Brussels and Pakistan have served as another reminder that disaster can happen anywhere at anytime. The Madison County Health Department is hoping you will get trained to help out during times of emergency, whether the disaster is natural or man-made. The next disaster training is planned for early April.
In a large scale disaster, department spokesman Lisa Modrusic tells The Big Z trained volunteers may be needed to spring into action.

The county's Medical Reserve Corps holds periodic training sessions, and the next one is planned for April 11 at the Health Department in Wood River. The registration deadline is April 4. For more information call 296-6096.
