Donald M. Flack, a Bethalto Village Board member, Assistant State's Attorney in Madison County, and sole practitioner in the law office that bears his name, will be sworn in as an Associate Judge on May 25. He replaces Nelson Metz, who retired from the bench in early April.
Flack says he is honored to have been chosen for the job. With the apointment, he will have to step down as a trustee in Bethalto. He is confident the mayor will have no trouble finding a qualified replacement
Flack is a founding member of the Bethalto Education Foundation, and is a co-founeder of the Bethalto Eagles Baseball and Softball Club. He is also active in his church, and has been involved in Rotary International, the Bethalto Boys and Girls Club, Tri-County Baseball League, and the Bethalto Village Charities.
