Jacoby Arts Center in Alton is once again the host site for The Empty Bowls Project to benefit the Crisis Food Center in Alton.  It’s the 5th year for the event that will raise money for the local food pantry and bring awareness to the need of those who are less fortunate in our area.

Empty Bowls takes place Saturday from 11am to 2pm at Jacoby and you can pay at the door.  Soups will be featured from My Just Desserts,  Gentelin’s on Broadway, Julia’s Banquet Center, S and S Sandwich Shop, Glenhaven Gardens, State Street Market and Tony’s Restaurant with Duke Bakery donating the dinner rolls.
