The terror attack in Paris last week has served as a reminder that disaster can happen anywhere at anytime. The Madison County Health Department is hoping you will get trained to help out during times of emergency, whether the disaster is natural or man-made. In a large scale disaster, trained volunteers may be needed to spring into action, according to department spokesman Amy Yeager.
She tells The Big Z its good to have the training, even if you never have to use it.
