A program designed to get future state leaders working together right out of the gate is continuing its work.
The Illinois Institute of Government and Public Affairs has announced its 2015 class of Edgar Fellows. The program, inspired by former Governor Jim Edgar, is designed to get people thinking: we really do have a lot in common, so let’s fix the state’s problems.
“Look, we have different points of view, different perspectives, different ideas on how to move Illinois forward and change the status quo,” says Rick Winkle with the Illinois Institute of Government and Public Affairs. “The status quo… needs improvement.”
