Easter festivities kick off this weekend, and the Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower in Hartford is getting into the spirit with a visit from the Easter Bunny. This Sunday from noon to 4pm, the Easter Bunny will visit the site along Route 3 in Hartford, and Tower Manager Amy Curry says he plans to leave something special behind.
The day before, the city of Hartford is having its big Easter Egg Hunt next door at the Lewis & Clark State Historic Site with close to 7,000 eggs, according to Curry. That same day, the Confluence Tower is hosting a wind festival that will include a kite contest, paper plane flying contest, and pinwheel making.
