The court has sided with union workers in Illinois, upholding a restraining order and preventing the closure of Tamms and Dwight prisons.  Governor Pat Quinn wanted to close the prisons and move the inmates to different facilities but the AFSCME union, which represents thousands of prison workers across the state, filed a restraining order against the closures.

They say Quinn acted too quickly and didn't consider safety concerns when he decided to shut down the prisons.  Quinn wanted the court to throw out the restraining order.
