March is National Women’s History Month and a local organization will commemorate it with an event next month. The Eva A. McDonald Women’s History Coalition’s 33rd annual Women’s History Brunch will take place the morning of March 5 at the Atrium Hotel in Alton. Monday is the final day to reserve your seat at the event.
Oasis Client Services Coordinator Marcy Jacobs tells The Big Z the program will include the reading of a proclamation by Alton Mayor Brant Walker, entertainment from gospel singer Oliva Neal and Gigi Darr, and the special recognition of two area women.
