The Crisis Food Center in Alton is heading into a very busy time of year and believes the generous support from the community will continue. While monetary donations have been down in recent months, the pre-holiday season is usually when people step up to give money or non-perishable food so the center can continue serving the community.
Crisis Food Center Board President Mary Brandt says anyone can donate or set up a special collection drive but it’s best to call in first to see what they need:
