Although a federal judge struck down Illinois' law allowing larger counties to offer same-day voter registration at the local precincts, you can still register on Election Day at your county clerk's office. Madison County Clerk Debbie Mendoza says her office is preparing contingency plans for whatever the rules are when the polls open on Election Day, November 8.
She tells The Big Z a lot could change between now and then.
