Residents of Madison County who pay high out-of-pocket costs for medicine because they don't have prescription drug coverage or because a prescription is not covered by their insurance policy will be able to save some money, as a new program is starting up. Madison County Board members unanimously approved an agreement with ProAct Inc. earlier this year, giving county residents the chance to apply for a prescription discount card.
Madison County Board Chairman Alan Dunstan says the county has offered prescription discount cards for a number of years and that this program will only sweeten the deal for the county and its residents.
Dunstan says residents should receive that information in the mail in in the coming days. You can also download a card here: www.ProActRxSavings.com
