When Cornet Chop Suey takes to the stage April 22 in the Ann Whitney Olin Theater on the Lewis and Clark campus, the Greater Alton Concert Association's will host the final concert of its 71st season. Best known for a wide variety of styles, the band applies its own style to traditional jazz, swing, blues, and "big production" numbers.
GACA Board Member David Miller says this has been a great season, and the last show with The Ambassadors of Harmony was a sell-out.
