A full month of construction along Interstate 270 in north St. Louis County is underway.  The construction will result in a new driving surface along a portion of the interstate.  MODOT says the work will run between the intersections of New Florissant Rd. and New Halls Ferry. Both bridges are more than 50 years old and have been classified as deficient. IDOT Spokesman Shaunda White tells the Big Z the details for the Eastbound lanes of 270.
