Congressman Rodney Davis (R-13th) recently spoke to a high-ranking official with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers about priorities.  During a Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment hearing, Davis told Army Corps Major General Donald Jackson Jr. of his concern over a lack of funding for the Navigation and Ecosystem Sustainability Program.

Jackson says those projects are a high priority for the Army Corps of Engineers, and was asked by Administration to "take a look at a few things."  The Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment is currently holding hearings focused on reviewing Corps reports and projects.
