The Lewis and Clark Confluence Tower in Hartford usually asks its thousands of visitors to go up into the 150-foot tall structure located along Route 3. You can still do that this Saturday night, but the hope is that many will also stay on the ground between 6 and 9pm for the annual summer concert. This year, it's being headlined by the Harman Family Bluegrass Band.
Opening the show will be the DD Revival, a four-piece band featuring music from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Tower Manager Charles Hendricks says he is hoping for about 100 people to make the concert the focus of their Saturday night plans.
The cost to attend is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children 12 and under. You can get your tickets at the gate - which opens at 5:30 - or in advance. For more information, call 251-9101.
