Concussion danger is not just for pro football heroes. “The kids who are coming in with concussions into the emergency room are 10 t 14 (years old). That's the biggest growing group that has them,” said State Rep. Christian Mitchell (D-Chicago), sponsor of a bill that directs school districts to set up “return to play” and “return to learn” protocol for young athletes diagnosed with concussions.
