Some businesses are teaming with its customers around the Riverbend, stepping up to make sure kids don't go hungry during the summer months.  Freer Auto Body in Godfrey is once again spearheading the effort called "Operation Kids Meals" and will start accepting donations today.

She says they're looking for kid-friendly foods like macaroni, cereal, and granola bars.  If you want to pitch in, you can drop your items off at a number of locations including the auto body shop and at the locations listed below.  The donation deadline is May 10th.
