St. Mary’s Church in Alton is offering a place to watch the Alton fireworks and hopes you’ll spend a little money to support the youth group. The inaugural St. Mary’s Fireworks Fest will be held from 5-11:30pm featuring music, food and drink and games for kids and adults.
It’s a scaled down version of their popular Oktoberfest, but still enough to keep people entertained. Spokesman Carolyn Simansky tells the Big Z it’s a fundraiser for the God Squad and their activities throughout the year:
