The Grandpa Gang is ready to flip the switch at Alton's Rock Spring Park to light the lights for the Christmas Wonderland light display. Starting tonight, you will be able to drive thru the park and see the millions of lights, as well as take the kids to visit Santa, and there's even a petting zoo.
Bob Osbourne is head of the Grandpa Gang. He says in addition to the attractions they erect each year, carriage rides will be returning too.
The annual walk-thru night will be held on Monday, November 26th, for just a dollar admission per person. No vehicles will be allowed that night. The Christmas Wonderland display hours are 6-9 p.m. on weekdays, and 5-9 p.m. on the weekends. The cost to see the display is still $7 for cars and small vans, and $1 per person for vehicles with 10 or more passengers.
