President Obama's Library and Museum could be coming to Illinois. Officials say UIC and the University of Chicago have made it into the final four. They're up against New York's Columbia University and the University of Hawaii. Each of the locations will go on to the next round of competitions. The finalists must submit a more detailed proposal by mid-December. The winner is expected to be announced sometime early next year.
State leaders have been pushing to bring the library to Illinois. They say it'll bring in millions-of-tourism dollars and give people a glimpse of where the president got his political roots.
