Alton Police joined with members of the ILEAS Task Force Thursday morning to raid a suspected drug house near the corner of Sering Avenue and Residence Street. The house is about a block north of Broadway, and was the site of a home invasion late last year in which two pit bulls were shot. At least 11 people lived at the house, about half of them children. Police reportedly recovered a large amount of drugs during the raid, and may seek forfeiture of the property.
