City officials have reached an agreement with the owner of Cobra Kai Entertainment that will allow burlesque shows to return to Alton. The two sides met for close to an hour on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the issue the city had with the performances.
Alton Mayor Tom Hoechst says the city is happy with the outcome.
Cobra Kai owner, Ryan Long says that the issue was with the "semi nudity" clause in the city's Lewd Entertainment Act
Long says that they aren't happy about the decision and that they hope a future administration considers revising the Act. He also says that the changes should not drastically change the shows. The first one has been scheduled for August 4th at Big Muddy Pub.
