A day of professional musicians and open jams will highlight the second half of today’s Downtown Alton Fall Festival. What begins with the return of the Challenge of the Bluffs Run and Chili Cook-Off will end with bluegrass music and open jams where the public can rub elbows with the performers.
The Waters Trifecta, Watt Hill and Raw Earth will all perform during the course of the day, but there will be chances for you to join in the creation of music. Alton Main Street Executive Director Sara McGibany says there will be a drum circle to end the evening under the tent from 8:30 – 10pm.
