The annual Bethalto Jaycees Country Fair is coming up in a little more than a month. From Thursday night, May 17 to Sunday night, May 20, the City Park will be filled with vendors, rides, games, and several thousand people enjoying one of the first carnivals of the season.
Bethalto Jaycees member Tad Roberson says they are using a different company than their cohorts in the fall to provide the rides and games.
The Bethalto Homecoming traditionally runs Labor Day Weekend, making Bethalto City Park the bookend events of sorts for the local carnival season. This event, however, is not organized by the same group that handles the event in September. They are looking for more vendors, so if you would like to learn more about setting up a booth, call Roberson at 377-8015. The fair runs May 17-20.
