A road project that is supposed to reduce traffic congestion near city hall is nearing the finish line. The five-way intersection at Prairie and Central Streets is being turned into a four-way, and according to the Village’s Mayor, work is progressing nicely.
Mayor Alan Winslow tells The Big Z there haven’t been any major issues to this point.

The project will widen the intersection to include turn lanes, according to Winslow. He says this project is being made possible thanks to a grant that was applied for a couple of years ago.
