It’s the peak of vacation season and the Better Business Bureau is reaching out to help you get the most out of your trips. The BBB recommends you take the time to read the terms and conditions of any reservation you make online so that you fully understand what the limitations are and that you don't run into problems after you have already reached your destination.
BBB Investigator Shelly Crader tells The Big Z one of the best tips is to pay for as much as you can with a credit card.

In addition to doing your homework, the BBB also recommends that you take steps to protect yourself from being burglarized while on vacation. She says that you should either stop mail service or have someone pick up your mail, put a few lights on timers and to do anything you can to make it look like life at your house is going on as usual.
