ArtEast, the 15th annual studio tour will feature large collections and demonstrations in Alton, Edwardsville, and several other communities in between this weekend. More than 100 artists will show their wares to the public during the free self-guided tour that runs today and tomorrow from 11am to 5pm.
Project coordinator Susan Bostwick says the Jacoby Arts Center in Alton will be a main stop in the River Bend featuring the work of more than a dozen artists. She says it's a unique event:
Other stops in the River Bend include By Design, Mississippi Mud Pottery and the Gift Box in Alton, the Wood River and Roxana Public Libraries and numerous locations in downtown Edwardsville. You can find a link to the ArtEast web site and a map, at www.arteasttour.com
