The annual "Arrival at Camp River Dubois" event at the Lewis & Clark State Historic Site in Hartford is coming up this weekend, and the weather is expected to be similar to what the explorers encountered during their time in the area 209 years ago. Activities will be held from 10am to 4pm both Saturday and Sunday inside the Interpretive Center and interpretation will be provided in the replica of Camp River Dubois.
Site Manager Brad Winn says while interpreters will be sharing their area of expertise, they won't be selling their wares.
He says there will be exhibitors displaying Native American artifacts, medical tools of the time, firearms and fossils. For more information, call 251-5811.
