The Madison County Sheriff's Department is investigating an armed robbery in Meadowbrook.  Investigators say two young men entered the Casey's General Store on Illinois Route 140 just after 11:30 last (Monday) night and robbed the store at gunpoint.  No one was injured in the crime.

After getting an undisclosed amount of money, Madison County Sheriff's Department Captain Mike Dixon tells The Big Z the robbers fled on foot behind the building.
