The Armed Forces Museum is a collection of military vehicles, weapons, uniforms and other memorabilia that has found a home in Greenville, at the American Heritage Museum along I-70.  Once located in Alton on Cut Street, the museum is now hosting war buffs and the curious about an hour to the east.

Volunteers are continually needed to help with set-up as well as with other tasks, and the museum's Captain Lee Johnson tells The Big Z there’s a new problem to figure out.

The museum has been around for more than 30-years: first housed in St. Louis, then Granite City, and then in Alton on Cut Street thanks to a donation of space from Alton Steel.  The museum moved to Greenville a few years ago.   Go to if you can help.
