The fireworks season is quickly approaching and the first display in the Riverbend will take to the skies on Saturday, June 29th at Brighton's Schneider Park. Bethalto's annual display at St. Louis Regional Airport is scheduled for the following night, June 30, but Alton Convention and Visitor's Bureau President Brett Stawar says that nothing will top the Alton/Godfrey Fireworks on the Mississippi.

The fireworks will continue on the Fourth with displays scheduled to take place in Jerseyville and Stawar says the season will wrap up on July 5th with displays planned in Godfrey and Grafton.
