The Center for American Archeology in Kampsville is celebrating Archeology Day tomorrow with a site that is open to the public. There will be site tours, presentations, flintknapping, spearthrowing, and plenty of other activities throughout the day.
Jason King is the Director of Research at the site. He says the center has been around for 60 years.
There will also be traditional pottery making, ropemaking, facepainting, and an artifact identification demonstration. The day runs from 10am-4pm, and it is free to attend. For more information, follow the link: http://www.caa-archeology.org/
