The Alton Regional Convention and Visitor's Bureau is partnering with the TreeHouse Wildlife Center to host a Spring Forecast event with the center's permanent resident groundhog, Murray, on Tuesday. An informal mett and greet with Murray the Groundhog, TreeHouse officials, and three local mayor's will take place at the Alton Visitor Center on Tuesday, Groundhog's day, at 9am.

It will be a short ceremony with Alton Mayor Brant Walker, Godfrey Mayor Mike McCormick, and Elsah Mayor Pro Tem Marjorie Doerr each delivering a few comments before Murray predicts the spring forecast. The Alton CVB is located at 200 Piasa St. in Alton.
