Early voting begins later this month around the state of Illinois, but in-person absentee voting is now underway. If you want to avoid the hassle of voting on Election Day November 4, Madison County Clerk Debbie Mendoza says you may want to think about casting a ballot at her office in Edwardsville, as many have already done through the early absentee voting process.
