Coach Ty Laux has a group of boys playing at a very high level at this point.

Staunton plays at home against North Mac on Jan. 9 and Carrollton on Dec. 10.

Laux said he definitely thought his team had improved from the beginning of the year.

"Calhoun has size, and the athletes, and in a game on Dec. 20 at Staunton, Bryce Coalson was 10 of 11 from the three-point line. We have six kids who are capable of putting the ball in the basket. Our scoring is very balanced, and we have been playing solid defensively."
