Historical Society (MCHS) will be back this year on October 2-4. The g
oal of the festival is to inspire an interest in history by giving par
ticipants a peak into the lives of people and activities popular in th
e past. The Living History Days (LHD) festival weekend will feature sp
ecial events at historic venues in Edwardsville and Glen Carbon\, Illi
nois\, where there will be music\, hands-on activities for children\, 
reenactors\, and demonstrations\, all capped off with a Sunday afterno
