alk \nThe Nature Institute is excited to host a FrogWatch Gateway Chap
ter training on Saturday\, March 7th\, marking the first time this nat
ionally recognized community science program will be offered at our si
te. \nSchedule: • Training: 4:30–5:30 pm • Optional Frog Walk: after t
raining \nDuring the training\, participants will learn how to identif
y local frog and toad species by their calls\, understand FrogWatch mo
nitoring protocols\, and explore how community-collected data support 
amphibian conservation and research. \nAfter the training\, participan
ts are invited to join an optional evening frog walk on The Nature Ins
titute grounds to listen for calling frogs. If weather conditions are 
not suitable\, an alternative hands-on activity will be offered during
the same time. \nThis program is recommended for ages 14 and up\, but
families may participate together. Frog monitoring can be done as a g
roup and is a great way to engage with nature as a family. \n No prior
experience is necessary. Join us for an engaging evening of learning\
