DESCRIPTION:Senior Services Plus is excited to announce its 3rd annual
gala &ldquo\;Success in Aging&rdquo\; scheduled for Thursday\, June 1
2th\, 2025\, from 5:30&ndash\;9:00 PM at the Lewis and Clark Community
College Commons. This event will honor outstanding organizations maki
ng a difference in the community\, including Corporate Partner Honoree
s- Phillips 66 Wood River Refinery and US Foods\; Community Partner Ho
norees- 1st MidAmerica Credit Union and Marillac Mission Fund\; Commun
ity Hero Honorees- Illinois Department on Aging and Madison County Com
munity Development\; and volunteers from Hope Lutheran Church. \n\n \n
\nThe gala&rsquo\;s proceeds will benefit the 14 essential programs an
d services that Senior Services Plus provides across eight counties\, 
reaching over 30\,000 older adults each year. These services include M
eals on Wheels\, Information and Assistance\, and Congregate Dining\, 
all designed to improve the quality of life for older adults. \n\n \n\
nThe evening will begin with a cocktail hour from 5:30 to 6:00 PM\, fo
llowed by a dinner and a presentation of awards to the honorees. In ad
dition\, a silent auction will open on Monday\, June 9th\, 2025\, and 
will run until 7:30 PM the night of the event. All funds raised throug
h the gala and silent auction will help offset the costs of providing 
Senior Services Plus programs and services provided at no cost to the 
older adults receiving them. \n\n \n\nTickets and tables can be purcha
sed online at www.seniorservicesplus.org/gala. Individual tickets are 
available for $75\, and tables of 8 can be purchased for $600. The dea
dline for ticket sales is Thursday\, May 22nd. \n\n \n\nSenior Service
