Take in the breathtaking autumn scenery on a four-hour fall color drive along the Great River Road between Grafton and Elsah, one of the top fall excursions in the country! Experience the stunning display of vibrant oranges, reds, yellows, rusts, and purples as the trees on the limestone bluffs contrast beautifully against the Mighty Mississippi River. Along the way, explore the Historic Village of Elsah and stop by the charming Elsah General Store for vintage sodas, candy, and local treats. The tour also includes a scenic drive through the architecturally significant Principia College campus, with a photo stop, and a visit to Pere Marquette State Park, one of Illinois' largest state parks.
Meet at the Grafton Skytour parking lot at 11:45 AM – the shuttle departs at 12 PM. Tickets are $27.50 per person. Please note, the shuttle is not ADA accessible, and guests will be contacted by phone or email if the tour is canceled.
