Edwardsville's Thanksgiving Day tradition is back for 2021!!

The 12th Annual Edwardsville Turkey Trot 5k and Kids Fun Run, hosted by Edwardsville Neighbors is scheduled for Thursday, November 25th.

The Edwardsville Turkey Trot has become a family tradition for many, with 1,600 participants in 2019. We want to help you stay healthy and active with your whole family, and now is a better time than ever to stay connected with others via social media, support local charities, and of course…enjoy a nice active run or walk!

As the event title suggests, the in-person event is back for 2021, and we couldn’t be more excited! This year’s event will have an in-person option - hosted at SIUE, as well as a virtual option for those that may be traveling during the holidays or wish to participate individually. Either way, we are so grateful you are considering joining us this year!

Proceeds from the event allow Edwardsville Neighbors, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, to continue their mission of easing the financial burdens and providing for various needs of District 7 families in a time of crisis.

Age Group Awards

Turkey trophies to the Top 3 Male/Female Overall, Top Male/Female Masters and Top 3 in following groups - 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+.
