In our never ending quest to keep bringing the arts to Granite City, we keep reaching out to artists from all around. And our search has brought to us some fantastic work in the form of our May artist Floyd Andrews.
Floyd is a thirty year old artist who's been creating art all of his life. But by his own admission he's only gotten serious with his talent for the last two years.
A sneak preview of this talented man reveals his works in the form of galaxies and nature to create whole new worlds for us to visit and explore through a blend of different mediums.
The inspiration for his art comes from his own personal journey where he constantly surprises himself with what he has and what he can accomplish. The more he paints, the more he explores his extraordinary talents and gift. And like the best artists, Floyd has discovered that the more he explores his talents, the better and quicker he's able to keep dazzling those of us able to look upon and admire his work and vision.
To Floyd, this collection we'll be seeing has outdone everything he's accomplished in the past. "Each piece is a unique experiment gone right!"
