The Alton Branch of the NAACP invites all area students in grades K-12 to join them at James H. Killion Park for their annual Back to School - Stay in School event.
Free backpacks and school supplies will be available for children who attend.
In addition to school supplies the event will include a free dental screening from Safari Dental, free lunch, a bounce house, dunking booth, face painting, discount hair cuts and styles, a tour of the Alton Fire Departments truck and much more.
This year's keynote speaker will Anya Jones, Senior Class President of Alton High School and free transportation will be provided.
