Part-time or full-time (long term) position depending on the applicant.
In this position, you will be the central point of contact for our office and responsible for the daily tasks required to keep work and projects flowing smoothly.
We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities: • A central focus of this position is entering data, generating reports, creating invoices, submitting tax payments and processing payroll using QuickBooks Desktop. Quickbooks training available. • Ensure employee time sheets are submitted time and accurately. • Use time sheet information to process payroll and submit all state/federal tax deposits and union payments as required. • Interface with our accounting firm on various tasks, including quarterly and annual tax forms, company financial reports, job cost analysis and work-in-progress reports. • Interface with insurance companies re workers’ compensation. • Maintain accurate AP and AR data. • Generate construction project Work-In-Progress(WIP) reports. • Maintain company checking account in QuickBooks. • Enter credit card transaction data into QuickBooks. • Utilize specific web portals to enter project billing and pay request forms. • Confirm the accuracy of all business transactions. • Perform data entry and administrative duties. • Answer incoming phone calls as required.
Qualifications: • Excellent customer and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in computer skills, e-mail software, Microsoft Word and Excel. • Ability to prioritize and multitask. • Strong organizational skills. • Deadline and detail oriented.
