NORTH COUNTY PRECINCT, MO. - The deceased in the homicide in the 10800 block of Hallstead Drive in the North County Precinct on April 19, 2021, has been positively identified as Alfonso Watts, 43 years of age, of the 10800 block of Hallstead Drive in St. Louis, Missouri, 63136.

At approximately 4:19 PM, on April 19, 2021, St. Louis County Police Officers from the North County Precinct responded to a call for service of a shooting in the 10800 block of Hallstead Drive. Upon arrival, responding officers located an adult male suffering from at least one apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased.

Investigation has revealed the shooting happened as a result of an altercation. The suspect is not currently in custody but was known to the victim.

The Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is leading the investigation, which remains very active at this time.
