MARYVILLE - Anderson Hospital is proud to have been named one of the best hospitals in the United States by Newsweek magazine in their annual "World’s Best Hospitals" rankings released this month. The 2023 list lands Anderson Hospital in the top 5% of hospitals in the United States and marks our 2nd year in a row to be recognized.

Newsweek is a premier news magazine and website that has been bringing high quality journalism to readers around the globe for over 80 years. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry-ranking provider. Newsweek and Statista developed a complex methodology to ensure the quality and validity of the ranking. Three data sources were used for the evaluation, including hospital recommendations from peers, patient experience, and medical key performance indicators (patient safety, hygiene measures, and quality of treatment).
