ALTON - The Alton River Dragons baseball team launched a kids coloring contest, and anyone that participates is a winner.

"It's a great way for us to connect to kids in our area and not just make them River Dragons fans but make them a fan of the baseball," said River Dragons Owner Steve Marso.

Any child completing a coloring sheet and returning it to the River Dragons will receive a ticket voucher good for a kid's admission into any 2021 River Dragons Sunday home game.

The River Dragons have already landed the help of some area schools to destitute coloring sheets to students and plan on contacting more in the coming days. The coloring sheet can also be downloaded from the River Dragons website at www.altonbaseball.com.

The Alton River Dragons are a summer collegiate baseball team that plays in the Prospect League.

The River Dragons will play their first season in 2021.
