GODFREY – Lewis and Clark Community College’s annual Art Faculty Exhibition will open Oct. 18 and run through Nov. 9 in the Hatheway Cultural Center Gallery.

The show will feature nine artists who teach in Lewis and Clark’s Art Department, including Art Coordinator Chris Brennan, Associate Professor Jeff Vaughn, Associate Professor, and Gallery Director Angela Hung and faculty members Jessica Forys-Cameron, Craig Hoffmann, Christopher Day, Jody Jedlicka and Matt Pierson. Professor and Computer Graphics Coordinator Steve Campbell also will have pieces in the exhibit.

“All of our faculty are exceptionally valued professional artists, and it is a real pleasure to see their creative work each year in this annual exhibit,” Brennan said.

The exhibit will include everything from drawing and painting to ceramics, photography and mixed media. It is free and open to the public during gallery hours, which will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. An opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, in the gallery.

“This is an excellent opportunity for students and the college community to see the artwork created by our Art Department’s highly skilled and dedicated Instructors” Hung said.
